Mage Arena

Story driven VR defense project for PICO 4, built as a group in Unreal. The arena design uses verticality and layered platforms to keep fights active and physically engaging. The game loop is wave based goblin defense, with interaction points in the environment that give the player more to do than just stand and shoot. The pacing is built around readable moments: build tension, handle the wave, reset, then escalate. The focus was making sure it feels good in VR, with clear feedback, comfortable flow, and spaces that support both story beats and combat.
